Limone

So I’ve been staying at this awesome AirBnB in Malcesine, Italy (see Mothing Malcesine for more including pictures) and the view from my balcony directly faces the town of Limone, across Lake Garda. Seen from afar it looks amazing and beautiful, and so last night I decided to see it from aclose (is that a word? – it should be)

I picked a little restaurant recommended highly in TripAdvisor (totally great site for travel in Europe, BTW) – not easy to find…

Found it!
OMG … what can I say … and yes, of course, ended with Limoncello

And of course I had the reciprocal view of Malcesine right across the lake as seen from Limone. Cannot quite see my apartment 🙂

Working in the Algarve

In May 2022 I visited Spain and Portugal, via Zurich and Amsterdam, on business and pleasure. Too much fun, combined with some Covid-related non-fun.

And then in October 2022 I competed in the J/70 World Championship … in Monaco. An 11th hour experience not to have missed… Woo hoo.

Cruising Greece and Italy

In June 2023, I took a little cruise, my first, to Greece and Italy, ending in Spain. Incredible. To be repeated soon and often.

Ready for a good day sailing the Bay

And most recently, In Sept 2023 I competed in the 505-Class World Championship in San Francisco (separate blog, for sharing to a separate group). Many disasters but overall a wonderful experience.
